All standard modern bicycle chains (from 8-speed up to 12-speed SRAM Eagle, Shimano Hyperglide+, and Campagnolo) have an exact standardized pitch of 1/2 inch (12.7 mm) per link.

Why Chain Links Must Always Be Even
Bicycle chains consist of alternating wide outer link plates and narrow inner link plates. A standard master quick link connects an inner link to an inner link. Therefore, total chain length must always round up to an even whole number (e.g. 106, 108, 110 links).
