• Anode mass requirement: $M = \frac{I_{tot} \cdot 8760 \cdot t_{life}}{\varepsilon \cdot u}$ where $u = 0.85$ is the utilization factor.
• Anodes must satisfy BOTH total electrochemical mass consumption AND end-of-life current output ($I_a = \Delta E / R_a$).
