How Psychrometric Air Properties Work
Dew point is the temperature to which moist air must be cooled at constant barometric pressure for water vapor to condense into liquid droplets (condensation or dew). When air temperature equals dew point, relative humidity is 100%.
Enthalpy represents the total thermodynamic heat content of moist air, combining sensible heat (dry bulb temperature) and latent heat (absorbed vapor energy):
Enthalpy (BTU/lb) = 0.240 × T_dry + (Humidity Ratio / 7000) × (1061 + 0.444 × T_dry)
